Mint has been voted Twickenham’s favourite independent hair and beauty salon for 10 years. We’re located on the very popular Church Street, across the road from the The Eel Pie and nestled between a selection of lovely gift shops and places to eat.

We’re a family-run salon, owned by Dan and Penny Benson, who want to break the trend of clinical salons to create a slightly quirky destination where people would want to hang out (hence the coffee bar, ceiling garden and dolly disco!).

We believe in pampering our hair and beauty guests in a relaxed, chilled out ambience, but we’re equally committed to doing our bit for the environment and we always make eco-friendly choices.

Mint has voted Green Salon of the Year (across the whole of the UK!) in 2020 and we continue to strive forward with our sustainable choices. That doesn’t mean we compromise on quality though: we believe our Oway hair colour and homecare,  and Evolve facials are the best you’ll experience in Twickenham.

We fly the flag for Twickenham (literally!) Mint Owner Dan is responsible for putting up the flags that make Church Street look so pretty whenever there are events going on.

Being embedded in the community is so important to us, so we’re one of the sponsors of the High Tide Festival, at the centre of the (in)famous Halloween celebrations and ready to get involved in anything that helps Twickenham to thrive.

Team Mint feel really lucky to have a business we love, doing what we love to do, and making our guests feel good every single day. That’s why we’re always keen to support and promote other local businesses and up-and-coming talent. We’re proud to open our salon doors to these brilliant people (click to find out more).
